Reverse Applique Dresden Fan

Come learn the art of reverse appliqué as you create a beautiful Dresden Fan quilt top. This class focuses on a specialized technique that adds depth and elegance to your quilting. With guided instruction, you’ll gain confidence and master this unique method step by step.

Join us in piecing this quilt pattern. This class is best suited for a confident beginner.

We will be making the center picture window dresden plate block with borders in class.  Unlike techniques that leave inner raw fabric edges exposed, Picture windows dresden blades have finished edges.  

Fabric Requirements:
Fabric A: 3/4 yd. for blades
Fabric B: 1/2 yd for picture windows (fussy cut)
Fabric C: 1/4 yd for lower windows
1/2 yd. inside border
1/2 yd for 2nd border
3/4 yd. for outer border
3 yd. for backing

Supplies:
Dresden Picture Window Reverse Applique tool kit (includes pattern)
Rotary Cutter & mat
Iron & wool mat
scissors with sharp point
neutral thread for piecing
coordinating thread for top stitching blade windows
ruler 6 1/2 x 24" 
glue stick

If you do not have a sewing machine you may rent one from the shop for an additional $20. Please contact us at 405-594-7845 at least three days before class to reserve your rental sewing machine.

Participants should pick up the pattern before class in order to have fabric cut and ready to sew for class. Pattern has an additional cost & MUST be purchased from The Quilt Lady.

Lunch not included, you may bring your lunch or snacks. Please only bring drinks with closing lids.

Please be advised are unable to refund class fees. However, we do understand that circumstances may arise so we do offer an exchange policy should you need to move your registration to another class.
