Old Rugged Cross Quilt
Join Dawn to Make a Beautiful "Old Rugged Cross" Quilt!
This class is perfect for beginners who are comfortable sewing on their machine or have taken one of our introductory quilting classes. Under Dawn's guidance, you’ll learn how to create a stunning "Old Rugged Cross" quilt and build skills that will inspire your quilting journey.
Class Requirements
- Pattern: The "Old Rugged Cross" pattern is required and must be purchased from The Quilt Lady.
- Sewing Machine: Participants should bring a sewing machine in good working order. If you do not have a machine, rentals are available for $20. Please call us at 405-594-7845 at least three days before class to reserve a rental machine.
Materials & Tools
Participants should bring the following:
- Essentials: Machine needles, rotary cutter, quilting ruler, small fabric scissors, seam ripper, pins/clips.
- Optional Notions: Mini iron, wool pressing mat, cutting mat, Frixion pen, sewing awl, flatter spray, clapper, and tape measure.
Fabric Requirements for a Lap-Size Quilt
(For other sizes, binding, and backing, please refer to the pattern.)
