Intro to Quilting

Join us for an introduction to quilting class where we will go through all the basic steps of assembling a quilt, but on a smaller project that will be completed in class. We will be making a pieced & quilted pot holder using the popular Songbook A New Page fabric line. The required Quilted Pot Holder Kit is included in the class price. If you would like additional practice, please plan to bring or purchase fat quarters or extra fabric.

Each participant should have a sewing machine in good working order, machine needles, rotary cutter, quilting ruler, small fabric scissors, seam ripper, & pins &/or clips. Optional items include mini iron, wool pressing mat, cutting mat, Frixion pen, sewing awl, flatter spray, clapper, & tape measure.

If you do not have a sewing machine you may rent one from the shop for an additional $10. Please contact us at 405-594-7845 at least three days before class to reserve your rental sewing machine.

Class participants receive 10% off notions & materials purchased from TQL for this class. Please mention your class at the register to redeem.

Lunch not included, you may bring your lunch or snacks. Please only bring drinks with closing lids.

Please be advised are unable to refund class fees. However, we do understand that circumstances may arise so we do offer an exchange policy should you need to move your registration to another class.
